Should I really try it.

Just curious, what the worse that could happen if i swap the stock dx 5 speed cluster to a lx 5 speed cluster? ecu problems, tach not working?

Try Searching.. Tach won't work.. Mising a wire on DX's..It just can't be done bro...

You could just run a tach wire, no? it prob goes from the cluster to the ECU......

The worst that can happen is that you spend a lot of bucks on new wiring. It can be done but will need to buy everything. New harness is 80-120 bucks for the instrument cluster.

ok mohawkboom I did search around that why I asked one more time. There is a guy on this site that has already (or says he did) guage cluster swap from a dx to a ex and it worked just fine. How would you make it work?
