Help Mesh grill!!!!

I recently purchased a mess grill for my 2k1 civic but as to how to intstall the darn thing, I have no clue!!! Do I need to take off the bumper and take out the stock plastic grill, you know the plastic grill that could potentialy hold fog lights if but the assembly. Yes you take out the bumper. You don't have to take off that plastic thingy. Anyway, you can either drill a hole to hold your grill or you a very thin wire (galvanized, which I used) to hold it.
