Problem with my Eibach Pro-Kit

Hey guys, i'm new at posting but i've been reading forever, so be easy on me. I ordered the Eibach Sportlines for my 2k1 but they gave me the Pro-Kit instead, should I keep the Pro-Kit or should i ask to get my Sportlines instead. The place i bought it from said it lowers the same but from what i've read, it doesnt lower as much as the Sportlines. What should i do. People with the pro-kit or sportlines are strongly encouraged to respond. Thanks guys.

well, this is all you. What do you want out of the springs? Do you want the aggressive but progressive spring rate of the Pro-kit or do you want the lower stance and aggressive springs of the sportlines? I just got coilovers and have my sportlines sitting on my back patio, in my NEX coilover box, but I do also have the sportline box there too. I also have a set of stock tires and a set of Kuhmo 712s, 215/45/17 sitting in my livingroom. Do you know anyone looking for any of these things? Let me know.

Bottlefed has a picture of his car right up there ^, he's got 17" Alts and the Eibach Pro-Kit.

The combo looks very very nice. So they told you that they would lower
the same...that's interesting, considering that they are two sets of springs
with totally different rates........Hmmmm. Well, the Sportline will lower you
lower than the Pro-Kit but not too drastically. Pro-Kit = .75 - 1.5"...the Sportline
will lower you 1.75" - 2". It's up to you. Personally, I would go with the Pro-Kit if I
already had them....

Pro-kit... better ride.. still great handling.. 1.0" Drop.. Sportlines.. Stiffer more firm ride.. 1.3-1.5" Drop... with the sportlines for our cars it's only a 1.5" Drop..We have the least amount of drop with Sportlines than any other cars.. he he..

Cheers

I'm with you mohawkboom. If your roads are bad, or you live in the north where winter beats 'em up on a regular basis (like Montreal)
racing stiff springs can really pound on you and your ride. If you're just cruisin' downtown it's great to be loooooow, but knocking out fillings on your morning commute can really wear on you after a while. I haven't lowered mine yet cause I'm waiting for spring and just got my 2K1 LXsedan in the fall. Do you need a camber kit(s) if you're using the Pro-kit???
