Exclamation Dyno day

I am thinking about doing a dyno day...anyone have any problems with your car after you put it on the dyno?

PS - My car has no mods at this time.

There shouldn't be any problems unless you run it excessively hard for an equally excessive amount of time. As long as they have the cooling fans in front of your car, then it should be just like driving down the road...

Why would you put your stock car on the dyno? You can find the stock wheel horsepower on the internet... if I was you I would just look it up and save my money

I would put a stok car on a dyno!

Every car is different!

Every dyno is different!

More power to YA!!! (no pun intended)

PS: why would you have "problems" after the dyno??? Unless some jackass drives your car on the dyno & miss-shifts it... I dont see why your car would run any diffrerent.

Good Luck & I think you should do it.

i think its dumb to do it. you won't have any problems. only thing you'll come out knowing is that your car doesn't have the same HP as advertised by honda.

The car is going to go on the dyno because I am going to add a lot of things to it in the upcomming months. I plan on putting it on to see what it's pushing now and what it will be pushing after the mods.

It would be nothing but advantageous to have true baseline numbers and a graph to go along with it, to help track what mods are doing what to the powerband and where.

Just do it, don't worry, and enjoy testing your car in a controlled enviorment. I'd rather her be doing this on a dyno then on a street...

i'll answer your question without you having to spend hundreds. the cai, header and exhaust are going to give you 5whp on your auto non-vtec d17
