Need Shocks Information
Can anybody tell me what is the tubing length of koni rear shocks? Dropped my car 3" and its bottoming out. Sooner or later (if it isn't sooner, I would have a blown shocks). I'm planning to buy koni, but if they have the same tubing length as the OEM, I probably end up with the same problem since the length of the travel will be the same as the OEM. I'm looking for a shorter shocks to prevent bottoming again.
Any suggestion?

koni, along with all other popular aftermarket shock companies (tokico, bilstein, kyb) are all designed with STOCK specs......although most perform fine with a slight drop (1.5"), but to directly answer your question, if your car is dropped 3" you are gona kill whatever shocks you use......GO TO AN AIRBAG SETUP

Are you saying that koni and other aftermarket shocks would probably work fine with 1.5" - 2" just because they are stiffer shocks?
I just want no wheel gap for the rear wheel. The front wheel, I can even sink the wheel about .5" inside the fender.
I was wondering if I could buy a coilover shocks (just the shocks) with 12" extended, it would be perfect.
I saw shocks at the local shop that sell this size of shocks. The problem is, it has an eyelet mounting for top and bottom, and our shocks require an eyelet at the bottom and stud at the top.
Anyway, thank you for your advise and prompt response. By the way, what did you do with your car suspension?
