Question Tail Blackout Issues

I followed the dyi a couple months ago and smoked out my tails real nice. But around the end of summer last year, everything just started to peel off . I was wondering how many other users had this problem and is there any better clear coat, or anything else that you guys are doing to keep them tails smoked up?

let a body shop do it. I blacked mine out before and it was all dull and ugly, once i gave it to my body shop to smoked them out, it looks completely stock and all shiny. Cost 100 bucks though. IMO it was worth it

Yea, did you sand it before applying the nightshade? It definitely helps

hey djrabbi I looked at the pics your ride looks good, but if you wouldn't mind taking some pics with the brake lights on and reverse light as well. They look good but would like to see visibility of the lights.
