Removing the stock headunit

Removing the stock headunit
ok i got a question....
when i try to remove my head unit, i get so far until i reach the two screws that hold the head unit inn,
i can't seem to get them off cuz i have noe room? can someone help?

But I think I know where your having trouble. When it comes to getting the whole HU and area off.
All you need to do is get something behind the lip where the plastic trim of the HU and AC/Temp controls meet the dash. And then just give a bit of a yank, there are 5 clips that hold the whole thing on. You will need to give it a good pull to get it off but then you can access the whole thing and work away, rather than trying to get to it from reaching up and under.
I know how you feel I did the same thing too.

what you need to do is get an 8 mm socket up there and unscrew it , its not that hard, then you do have to push rather hard and pop it out .. if ya need help go to the DIY ..

look man i did look at the stupid DIY and it didn't show how to get the screws off .
