Supercharger-like whine from smaller pulleys?
I have an aftermarket alternator custom installed on my car, with a pulley that is smaller than the stock pulley. I've had this pulley on for the past couple of days, and I've noticed that when I'm accelerating, I can hear a whine from my engine, similar to what a supercharger sounds like. Is this normal, or is it okay rather? It seems fine to me, but I don't want it to be there if it shouldn't be.

Yes, it's a 200a GM small case (CS130D). It's not alternator noise, like from the speakers, it's a whine coming from the engine itself, like mechanical noise.
Not not like alternator whine from the speakers and through the electrical system, I mean the physical alternator whining because it's much more weight to spin and more resistance. It's like it's fighting against a motor and it rev's itself up, only with magnets and ****....
