Anyone put the lock in a carbon fiber trunk??
My g/f just got a cf trunk for her 01 coupe, and i see that the lock hole, is not pre drilled. Is there anything i should know about doing this, or any good hints to point me in the right direction?

I actually just drilled it out. There was a problem though.
The lock is held in by two 10mm bolts on the back side. On the cf trunk, the hole that the lock goes through is too thick, so the lock can't even stick out of the hole, let alone be flush with it. So now i have to grind off some of the material where the lock will mount up. Also, none of the holes on the bottom side of the trunk lid are drilled, save for the two by the trunk latch. So it was, either run the wiring differently or cut out those oval holes so i can run the wiring like factory. Also had to drill out all the holes where the little clips pop. So before you put your trunk on, look at the old one, and drill all the holes out first.
