boosting my d17...should I??

what kinda numbers do you think i would put out??? and is it safe?? lol i have a pretty stock d17 and want to boost it but im scared of how much damage would afflict on my motor.

with proper tunnning you can have a 200hp daily driver with no problems, just the regualr maintnence costs taht you get with turboing and NA car.

not trying to be mean but if you have to ask you dont know enought about it and you will probably blow your head gasket atleast once.in the forced induction world its all about tuning. and to get a propper tune ona d17 you will need an aftermarket fuel system

well i don't know my numbers yet ..cuz im still workin on my turbo ... but i have a stock d17a2 w/ vtec and im gonna be boosted this spring/summer ..... but for our stock d17...the only turbo that can handle our stock motor is the tsi turbo kit .....i will be boosting 6psi ....if i want more..of course i have to upgrade my injectors and internals.....but for now, 6psi will do us good w/ a good tuned...

there are alot of setups that can run with a stock setup. if you don't wanna change your injectors you can use the SF FMU. Mine is basically all stock but i have RSX-S injectors and will be running emanage at 9psi daily.

thats what im planning to do ... get an emanage and i already have rsx-s injectors and be running 8 or 9 psi daily .....

i thought a sf fmu would atleast last me 2 weeks on 4.5 psi but i made it about 200 miles

and you can boost on stock injectors its just not as reliable and using rsx injectors. esspecially if you going with e manage to start with for $80 more you can boost more

yeah boost with stock injectors on an FMU and rsx-s with emanage
