I have looked at the Aladdin 2000 system. Nice looking system. Here is the website. Aladin Alarm-www.gopme.com the installer told me to wait on buying it. They have had some issues with the 'brains' going bad. He told me that within a month or 2, they are going to have an updated and better one out. I might wait with mine. The local shop who sells Compustars is selling them for 750 installed. That is a bit steep for me. The Aladin is about 430 installed.
No problems, had since august. It does set off the warning page if a loud car gets next to it tho, I noticed when I park next to my 2k1 in my Si and rev it sets the warning off.
No real problems - I love the alarm. I get false pages sometimes. I guess that's because it's sharing the radio frequencies with other devices - actuall I just got paged while I was surfing 2k1civic, I looked outside and there was no one on the street. It happens every now and then, even when my car is in the garage. But it's a real nice system overall.
