that would be greatly appreciated
Allman, did you ditch your original design in favor of an Altezza style grill? I'm just curious because your member's ride page says you have an altezza grill. If you did, why? Durability, etc...?

Like everything else, I got tired of it and wanted a change.....so yes that is an Altezza grill which I painted myself to match my car......I've been after the clean "ALL Silver" look for a while now...then I'll change to something different again...neither grill is was more durable than the other...just at the time front upper grills weren't made yet..so I made one...!!....and for those who choose to have a DIY too..well there you go!!!..Peace!
1)Take off your bumper
2)Look at the stock upper grill and the black back peice has like 6 screws, undo these
3)look under the silver there are 4 black screw tabs unscrew those.
4)your top grill should be off if not you suck at life take the top grill and make a outline on a peice of cardboard
5)cut the cardboard out so you have a flat peice that looks like your upper grill
6)go to lowes and buy the mesh or call a place that sells the good stuff grillecraft uses
7)cut out around the outline on the mesh and you have the grill
8)for attachment there are several options I put the screwtabs in the bottom back in with wire loops threaded through them and the grill on the bottom and put dabs of silicone on the top corners. I think allman used velcro straps or somethin like that. Beware it is very easy to scratch the paint doing this but in my opinion if you ever put stock grill back on you wont see the scratches. Im getting a xenon front bumper so im converting to the altezza front grill like allman cuz i dont want to scratch the damn thing up

No, my upper grill did not use any velcro, screws, wire or other...It was secured by the black trim that you see in the picture...I custom formed the grill with a lip that formed and slid into the recessed part of the bumper...(when you remove the factory grill you'll see).....then applied the rubber trim....there you go!
