Goodbye2 my header, unless u can help

well ive had my headers for a couple of months now, btw i have an LX...so the CEL has been on, and its running really bad now, gas milage sucks, and HP sucks too, so ive tried the MIL elminator, and nope it didnt work, and before u say something... YES i tried the non fouler, and it didnt fit, due to the altenator being in the way, so i guess i have to put my stock manifold back in, unless some of u know another way to take the CEL off besides the eliminator and non fouler trick, ????????

I thought you were supposed to put the non fouler on the second o2 sensor. The one after or in the catalyctic converter. Maybe im wrong. But I know thats where my Mil Eliminator is. I think it goes in the same place.

i have an LX, OBX headers, no down pipe, just straight piped, and the MIL eliminator didnt work, and i put the non foulers on the secondary sensor plug, which is on the headers, which is right above to whre my exaust pipe starts, and the plug is kinda facing at an angle to where my alternator is at, so it didnt fit, theirs no room for it, since the non foulers works as a spacer i guess.... so any other suggestions?

plug the secondary o2 hole and get another one welded where you will have clearance for the sensor. Then use the non foulers.

I have a DX with HP Racing shorty header and downpipe(catless) with HP racing J-spec catback, I eliminated the engine light with casper's 02 sim, plug that into your secondary sensor. But I havent had any issues in a drop of mpg or performance, you've got, I think, another problem.

no, cuz im ebay, ok first off, its not the o2 sensor that causes the hp loss, or mpg, its the CEL, cuz i was reading another forum, saying that the CEL puts the car's ecu in default mode, which changes ur timing, and air/fuel ratio, and when i reset my computer, and the CEL isnt on, my car runs like a champ! when i first put the headers, i raced my friends v8 lexus, and i was ahead of him the whole time till like the last split second, and now its like when i floor it, it stays on first gear till i let the pedal go and push, thats when it changes, so yea, im just gonna put my old exaust manifold, imma sell my car anyways, but thats gonna be a diffrent thread imma make,

maybe its not even the sensor that's causing the engne light to go ON, but try the Casper's 02 sim, it works.

if you are throwing a cel with a test pipe (catless pipe) its because of the o2 sensor reading too high of fuel content in the exhaust. this can be cleared with a o2 simulator. this just gives the o2 the same reading it would as if the cat was in place. if you are throwing a code with the o2 simulator in place then you have another problem or the o2 sim is faulty. that is the only 2 things it can be if your cel is from the exhaust

i guess its a faulty eliminator, and i believe it, cuz in other threads ppl say that it didnt work, and if it did, that it only worked for a couple weeks, months tops
