Limiter @ 7000 rpm's...
I just installed a 3.75" autometer autogage tach with internal red shift light into my 04 vp civic and i was pounding it in third going up hill and the tach didn't limit out until 7000...is that our actual limiter or what...tach install was a guarantee job...Need opinions or facts please...

yup thats our rev limit. may i ask why you were playing that high? really no need to go over 6400 even when "raceing" a VP no more power gain. believe me i had a stock dx for a while.

i was racing a riced out hatch (ek) up the hill and if i would have shifted to fourth, my dx trans would have bogged like a bitch...6500-7000 was only held about 10 seconds...peace out...

6400 redline????!! thats sounds off.... both D17A1 and A2 both should have redline of 6800 (+/- 50). Limiter should be around 7000.
had similar result with an EK EX.... but it was 4 speed though.....
