Say what?

As long as you got a 5speed... it will fit.
When you order the CAI, the outside of the box says for civic EX... only difference, they have a slightly different instructions printed for installing on an EX. Personally, I saw no difference at all.

I have an LX and it went on just fine.

very nice DIY...so you've installed an EX intake on your LX....by the way, i do have a 5 speed....and so does the person im buying from

anyone else done the same or know if it will work ok

dude i just put my intake in this weekend and the directioons showed there were two different ways to install the lx and the ex like when you mount it on the transmision bracket theres more nuts for the LX then the EX and that makes me thin that it wont fit but if he got it to work thats cool.

alright...i just called AEM and talked to a tech. He said that it could fit, but that there was a difference!
but id still like to try it.....

is there anyone on here that has put the ex intake on an lx??'

or phong, are you sure you got everything to work alright....how does it sound??

Yes it will fit. mine is an EX intake. my car is LX. so you can put it on. i didnt realize it til i already had the thing on. but since it fit and worked i didnt bother taking it off and getting the right on

There is a difference between the two. The instructions show the finished pict. the Ex is a two piece tubing, at least mine was and the Lx is a one piece tubing.
