how far will it go
ahhh finally found a site for my my 7thgen civic,
well, does anyone know how many miles the civic can go when the gas light comes on?

about the gas light....i have no idea......the gas tank is like 11.4 gallons or somthing...just drive till the light comes on...the go fill up. then say it takes 11 gallons or 10.7 gallons or whatever...just try and figure how many miles you may get from that little bit of fuel.....

Rep Power: 0 I've gone 40 miles with the gas light on........though I didn't have much of a choice at the time, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have some gas on hand[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Pretty far actually...I have driven from work to home (70 miles) and still only put in 11 gallons. According to the specs, I still had over 2 gallons plus the lines (70+ miles)

Rep Power: 0 well mine is a 2002 and it has a 13.5 gallon tank. i have gone up to 34 miles on the light so far but i am scared to push it because i live in the country and gas stations are few and far between

Rep Power: 0 I think you should have roughly 1 gallon left when the light comes on, so like 30 miles or so.
And I get about 300 miles per tank as well....250 - 300 if I am gassing it around town a lot !!

Rep Power: 0 our tanks are 13.2 gallons. my light seems to come on when ive used about 10.5 gallons. ive gone pretty far after the light comes on, last tank i got 443.4 miles and filled it with 12.25 gallons, the light came on around 380 miles
