if you have mechanical knowledge and a bit of experience with electrical, go ahead and do it yourself. Otherwise, have a independent shop do it. The dealer isnt the only one who has to install it. Of cource they will rape you, but thats the dealer. I bet outside alarm shops will charge around $60-$100. Or just follow the DIY that I posted.

/\/\ it's not that hard! just follow the directions in that link, or go to www.handa-accessories.com for the instructions, and do it yourself. it's easier than you think!

btw, where are ya?

find a member in your area to do it. you could probably have them do it for way less. its a real simple install. to those who know how to run wires and work with plastic.

if the aftermarket oem comes with the template, then it would be easier to do it yourself...

hey, you said you're in stockton, ca??? there's plenty of guys around that can help you out some afternoon. I'd help you, but i'm down in monterey, unless you really want to do the drive. but post up in the northern california section, and you'll get some help from someone ther eto install them!

btw, i got the template, but didn't use it. i didn't find it that helpfull. besides, the computer that has the scanner connected to it is down and in the shop right now, but post in the north cali forum, and you'll get some help!
