RSX-S axle-back on Sedan*** New question

I am going to install a RSX-S axle-back on my 04 sedan

Do you have a special trick to make it fit under the sedan bumper without problem? (The civic oem exhaust bend down to clear the bumper). I don't like the idea of cuting my bumper to make it fit....

If I put longer hangers, will it hit my sway bar?

Anyone has a special trick to teach me?

rockhound124 is an unknown quantity at this point
The only trick to putting it on would be to take it to a shop and have it welded on. The length is too short. A piece needs to be added to the piece between the muffler and the midpipe. A shop can do it right.

Thanks, but I already knew about this requirement to fit it to the existing exhaust.

My question is about the clearance with the bumper. On the a Sedan the bumper is lower than on a coupe (or at least seem to be!), so the muffler exit is curved down. Furthermore, sedan don't have a special hole for the muffler tip. If I attach my RSX exhaust on my car, the tip is directly in the bumper...

I guess I need to cut the bumper...

A good shop can extend the hangers and make it look good.

Flange fitment

I know that I need to add 2-4" to the axle back to make it flush with the bumber.

I know that I will need to use longer hanger...

But does the flange of the RSX muffler will bolt on to the OEM civic resonator flange? I know that the inner piping is larger on the RSX, but are the flange of the same size?

I read somewhere that the flange is not in the good angle, if you want to install the RSX muffler on the civic mid-pipe.

But, finally I will change also my mid-pipe for a RSX-S midpipe. So everything will line-up fine for me. My exhaust is still stock, but I started to collect all the part I needed, I have the RSX-S cat-back, a Kamikaze header, and a custom downpipe. I am just missing my high flow cat convertor to start my installation.
