technik03 thats such an ignorant idiotic post that i just dont get it.
if he doesnt know where it goes he shouldnt get one? well if you dont post to answer his question than dont post.

PEOPLE!

anyways, civicman fold down your rear seats or open trunk and look in the far corners of the trunk where it meetst the seats, peel back the carpet and youll see the top of the struts with three bolts (might be two i forget) so the bar will go across taht, and yes it will be visible unless you fold the carpet over it but still its noticeable.

yes it goes in the trunk so ya yer screwed. unless u can find a way to cover it up b.c it does lay pretty low so if its possible to unbolt the carpet and then cover it then go for it. if u pull away the carpeting along the sides of the trunk, towards the seats, then u see the struts sticking out thats where u mount it. unbolt the bolts then put the strut there. just letting u noe its gonna b a pain in the *** cause the bolts are on their really good but a very good elbow grease can take care of it.

please if you do this, make sure you have a decent size torque wrench because i believe the torque recommended is something around 80 ft/lb.

AntDeezy is on a distinguished road
the front one goes in between the blinker fluid reservoir and the housing to the headlight grease bearings ...

for the rear one, ... I'm not sure ... I think it hooks into the wheel itself somehow...

eh, i knew what a strut bar is but i never installed one. i asked on this site. damn guys help peoples out. the 2 humps of the car in the trunk really close to the back of the seats. where the wheels are. pop up the carpet, unscrew some screws, install the bar and screw the screws back on real tight. then cover it up with something like some clothes or something. she won't know. good luck

I am closing this thread due to some of you peoples answers. I feel some flaming coming on. BTW, civicman1988, look in the suspension forums and read up on rear strut bars, they are some threads on it, also type in the search column for it, you will find something.
