Speedo Help

Okay, so last night I installed some reverse indiglo gauges! I followed all of the instructions from the DIY. I grounded the black wire, and tapped the red wire into the proper wire. All of the other gauges work fine, (RPMs, Temp, and Fuel) except now my speedo doesn't work, or it just jumps to 20mph.
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong, or if there is a way that I can fix this? Thanks in advance....

sounds like your speedometer needle is sticking to the gauge iteself. pull the cluster back out and physically look above and see if the needle is laying or touching the gauge. Sounds like it is because if it jumps around, then that is usually the cause. Just slightly pull it away. It should fix the problem.
