I just bought a Power Enterprise VTEC Controller and it has to hook up to the MAP Sensor wire going to the ECU - i get to my ECU and look at all pictures (and verify from the DIY ECU wiring guide) But there is NO wire in that position!! I have a 2001 EX Coupe, whats the problem here>>>???

the vtec controller you want to use is prob made for older civic's and will not work with our type of vtec anyways. Please research next time.

Check this out... in the DIY ecu wiring guide, nothing shows for position 16... which is where this grn/red wire goes in at... think that could be the MAP sensor wire?

Follow the link up above... Its a VTEC controller and an air/fuel tweaker all in one gauge (also tach with max rev light - vtec engaged light - air/fuel gauge)- taps into current ecu/setup so realy easy, basicly just get behind glovebox and whalla...
Its the White Front Limited Edition. Works with i-VTEC ALSO
Have pics... PM me or email: nickd@sti-k12.com

Make sure you are looking at the correct ECU harness and if you are, try the grn/red wire. I would at least try it before you give up and sell the thing. I like Power Enterprise stuff (Especially their Z33 TT kit)

Well in the diagram on the power enterprise installation PDF says same position as 7thgencivic.com's DIY section for the ECU wiring... Problem is, where they BOTH say, MY ecu does not have a wire going to the 19th postion, but DOES have this grn/red wire, but its on 16th position... which this sites ECU wiring guide does not list.....
suggestions?

can anyone with a vtec (d17a2) 01-05 civic look on their ecu harness and verify if you have a wire in the 19th position? and if you have the grn/red wire there or in the 16th position (on the top most harness) thanks!

ok i got everything hooked up now... (sorry to bring from dead, but i still got problems now...) /sigh - liek i said its all hooked up and works when its off... when its on it stalls my engine out. I try to set the air/fuel spots just to keep the engine running idle and no luck. any suggestions as to where i should set the air/fuel increments and percents? just for idle?? thanks!

Well, i am officially an IDIOT, my buddy finally got around to helping me and i was reading the directions, well upside down... i was looking at the harness the wrong way...
so saying all that, everything hookd up fine etc... but now i cant get it to work while it is on....
so, .... i disconected the air/fuel part and works great as a tach and vtec engagement controller =) oh, btw - whats good engagement point for the d17?
yes, its still for sale i suppose, its in perfect condition still and all.... asking 150 shipped. Thanks!
