Lightbulb EX Headers on an HX MT!

Sorry not a DIY at this point but more an FYI.

The DC sports EX 4-1 headers do fit on an HX and actually work great. You can eliminate the first Cat on the HX without any ill effects. I still have the main cat in place but everything else on the exhaust is custom. The pics of the car are not entirely current as I no longer run sts. Buried down there also is an EX tranny rather than the long geared HX unit.

Pics:

There they are!

Where's the muffler?! Oh wait it's just infront to the axle and no more swaybar clearence issues.

And finally some slightly out of date outside pics, note the cone guts on the front

Mods: Alot, most importantly:

Suspension:
Progress Sway bars
Competition coilovers custom spring rates and valving.

Mechanical:
I/H/custom 2.25" exhaust
EX tranny
Lightened Flywheel
stage 1 clutch

215/40/R17 Kuhmo MX's
17x7 Konig Heliums
