just liked to know if all u intake owners could put some picks ,measurments ,or something to help out so we could make a diy for a cold air intake for our cars and not have to pay 2 or 3 hundred dollars. i saw a diy for an intake but its not for 7th gen civics but it looked real good ..so if any one can or would like to help out please do [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

yeah but the people that dont have the money for a "real"one would like to have half the hp gain for 1/4 the price of a real one.just untill they have the money to get a real one . u never know some people with a short ram might just like the idea of making it into a cold air for just a few bucks more
Half of almost nothing is right. If you are going to DIY, it will most likely be an aesthetic upgrade only...withOUT a warranty. IMO, $175.00 for a brand new Injen CAI that bolts on in 30 minutes is a better deal. If you decide to DIY, good luck and post pics!!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Who cares if you do either...what, do you really think that wasting $175 on something that doesn't do a damn thing to improve the performance or your ride? Oh I'm sorry, it might give you 2-3 horsies. You're better off getting some stickers, I heard that a Mugen sticker placed properly on your window, will give you a 55+ hp increase at the wheels.

vietnam, the 180 that the guy from jdm uses is fine. the way i cut it, it's only enough pipe for an sri due to that 90 degree bend. i'll post pics when i'm done. good luck guys
