Cool Check Engine-0420 code

Just got a 2001 Civic HX 5 speed 38000 miles, i have a 0420 code that meast exhaust threshold exceded? Also i would like to know if you guys think i paid a good price for it? it has tinted windows new tires a header(unknown brand) AEM long intake and a tru duel exhast, paint is in excelent conditinon, its the only one i have seen with its color. it is a very very dark blue almost black with a blue metalic to it in the sunlight any help on what the code could be would be helpful.

p0420 is a bad secondary o2 sensor ...

I think* that the HX has the Cat in the header like an lx. (* this is off the top of my head so I could be wrong) If that is the case & the header has been replaced you need to get an o2 simulator for your secondary sensor. Maybe someone with more HX knowledge can confirm or correct what I said.

IF, i repeat, IF the hx exuast set-up is just like the LX/DX. than its the header. the o2 sensor i believe was located within the header. therefore, by replacing the factory header with an aftermarket that has no function of a cat converter, it is throwing a bad o2 sensor code.
