^huh??? u joshin me?
^^civic ex 04, stock, just curious.
clarifiacation- I know axles can only take up to around 200 hp, head gasket around 10psi maybe less, clutch wears after about a month of being boosted. Not sure about rods but am guessing above 12 psi they aint gonna cut it. Also our block probably cannot take more than 250whp, even with alcohol. Rings too and pistons.
Now how much HP/PSI can manual gearbox take?
Or how long can you boost until it is chewed to hell?
stories of MT exploding would be nice, anything really.
I know there are not a lot of people with 04 and boosted so any 7thgen would be fine. I was also wondering how many people have transmission problems, other than clutch, and of course auto.
I know it is different for someone who drives like a bat out of hell all the time compared to someone who likes to cruise alot, but any experiances or estimates would be nice.
Thanks

OOOOOO well just modify the clutch and the flywheel there is members with a better clutch and flywheel i have the exedy organic and streetlite flywheel and it works great my head gasket recently blew but they blow when you lean out. The auto guys here with turbo need a tranny cooler and i don't know what else they do but some don't run as much boost but there is a member running 12 psi with an auto it just all depends i guess all the cars are different

I know about the autos-some have slipping some donnot, with or woth out trans cooler-I think it is how they drive, personally.
I just never hear of problems with MT, and was curious about what its limits are.

i think the 1st to 2nd is the hardest. Due to traction.
I used to have a problem with 2nd-3rd the first year i drove, not with grinding, just with making it smooth, but i have worked out the kinks, its hard to explain, you just gotta slip it in there
slip the jab rock!!!
