Cat Converter
Has anyone hollowed out their cat? I was talking to someone and they said that it would cause the exhaust to be louder without and it wouldn't void your warranty, depending on where you live.
Would anyone do this?

I wasn't going to do it, I was wondering about it for a friend, he has a 2001 eclipse gt and he bought a crappy muffler and tip so it sounds like **** and now he's thinking of ways to make his louder, I keep telling him to just buy a whole exhaust system but he won't listen to me.

I have had car without cat converters and they get pretty loud specially when they are under load?. My car has it on and it's really loud, I can't imagine how loud it would be without it!
