man do i have a problem!!!!!!

ok, im a complete idiot. i wanted to wire a tube of neon to my trunk, so i was like "i have an idea!" i stupidyl cut the 2 wires to the trunk lite, and figured id just wire the neon to those 2 wires. it didnt work at all, and when i put the wires back to the original trunk lite, it didnt work at all so i was like "what the hell???".

i wouldnat mind much if it was just the trunk light, but the 2 map lights and dome light for the back are out too so i have no clue how in the hell to fix my stupidity, and really need some help!!!

i have a 2002 lx coupe, and if its a blown fuse somewhere, where is it, and how do i replace it?

treat me as though i have the IQ of a 2 year old, so please be descriptive

Yeah, that sounds like a blown fuse. The fuse box is under your drivers side dask, check the manual to see which one you'll need to replace.

i took all my fuses out and put pieces of metal in place of them so they couldnt blow, then i pulled the negative wires out of everything i could find and welded them to the positives, then i tried to start the car

your fuse can be found under the driver side's pannel under the steering wheel. and if its not there it will be under the hood. Easy fix! not too expensive like frying your circuits

look in your glove box...

now see the rather small but thick book,

go to page 286...

now look up trunk/dome lights

now find fuse

now replace

new diy instructions...not as original as others but then again, it doesn't take a genious...
