Sway Bars
I did an Ex exhaust coversion this week and had to undo it. I did change the LX sway bar to the EX sway Bar. When I went to put the stock exhaust back on I left the EX sway bar on. It appeared to have plenty of room. So i have been driving two days now with my stock exhaust back on. Yesterday i noticed that the car was driving funning (kinda loose). Not able to take turns very well. Thought it was the new tower bar. So but my other bar back on. It seemed fine. Today i was driving and was nice and stiff. I was 20 mins. from home and it started to do it again and I am thinking that it the sway bar. Also when i was 2 blocks from home there was a wierd noise coming from what sounded like under there. It was like a load squeeking noise. Anyone had any of this happen???

Make sure the threaded bolts on the end links are tight and not loose. Those bolts should not move easily. You said you put two different bars on and still experience a loss in traction, it's not the bars. The bar's have no mechanical parts. You either have loose endlinks or possibly did one of the bushings come loose from the brackets that support the bar to the chassis? Are the bushings in good shape?

I went and put some lube in the bushings and that seemed to help. All i have now is the sqeeking noise comming from the engine some where. We did take out the power steering and had to put it back. Would that sound fine for a day and then make noise??
