Fibre glassing.. hrrmm.. help

Fibre glassing.. hrrmm.. help

did i even spell fibre right lol?


anyway we dont have a fabricating forum :|

ok so im fibre glassing up a custom sub enclosure. first time haha

frabric etc layed. and i put my first layers of res on the clothe

my question is. i think i ****ed up on the mixing of the hardner and may have put to little in..

will this crap harden over time if it snot fully mixed.. or wut. or am i ****ed.. time to begin again :| :'(

theres a diy in the DIY section. or at least there was one. but from what ive read on the subject, you should follow the instructions on mixing from the label on the can or whatever.

thats not what i asked. i know there are instructions. i need to know if it ll still harden if theres missing hardner,

Yea your fu*ked if you didn't put enough hardner in. I learned that the hard way b/c it will not harden and will be gooey.

ok hmm guess ill have to see wut i can do

they didnt provide me with enough of the hardner crap. by the time i went to use the rest i didnt have enough. sigh

heh i thought bout that. but it took all day of sitting out on a warm day. and its hard. mwahaha

ok so im hap[py now. now to figure out how to lay fibre glass matting sigh.

i know theres a buncha diy's but they only tell so much

i think you use too much hardener on other batch. i think the company is clever enough to give the right amt.

lol i know.

problem was i was doing it in such lil batches it was hard for me to tell howmuch hardner
but it works


wheret he heck is the diy ont his damnit lol
