I'd check all the sticky tape, maybe its losing its stickyness. Maybe the temp change made them change shape? I don't know, my side skirts are fine.

I have noticed that temp change do effect these. I have noticed they shrink in the cold and become verry flexible in hot weather. The double side tape is falling off but i have tried to replace it with stronger tape. still no good. Can these type of skirts be atached my adhesive?

LoL, figures. They put mine back on when some one tried to steal them off my car while it there getting work done, and the tape they used was awesome. I'd just look into a different tape...

i think one of the problem is that the edge under the door is too small to hold the tape because they end up lifting and getting caught on my doors.

Hmm, I didn't have that problem with my G5 skirts.. I would sand down the part that catches the door or something. Not real sure.

You can try to use Epoxy to glue them down.

you should get brackers to help support the side skrits fron under. also, when the body shop put my side skirts on they used some type of solution on the tape that made it stick extra strong.... 2 years not with the kit and no problems.

i had the same problem before. just remove the whole skirt and apply a new strip of double sided tape to 'help' hold it in place. now get some urethane glue from a paint/body place and use small amounts of it on the places that are giving you a hard time keeping in place. the glue can come off with relative ease in the future. i did my skirts like this and i have had no problems since. it really works great!

does anyone have a good idea on how to apply pressure to the areas that have tape behind them. Im thinking the more pressure applied when installing the side skirts back on would help the tape to adhere better? But i cant find a way to do this without damage to the body occuring. I also noticed this morning that the bottom of my doors have had the paint rubed off of them becuase of the edge of the side skirt keeps grabbing the bottom of the door

The stuff the body shop put on your tape to make it perminant is called Activator. My buddy gave sum when he painted my kit but I didn't put it on.
only car+kit+winter=oh crap
I' am also having trouble with my doors rubbing my side skirts.

Best thing for everyone to do that has this problem is remove the tape completely off of the car then the skirt. Clean BOTH surfaces very well, wipe dry then use FUSOR double sided tape; Comes in a white box, works great. Want something more permanant, use Duramix Super fast panal adhesive.
