I have an 02 civic ex, and when I got the car from my sister it already had an AEM sri on it. For Christmas, since my sister's boyfriend knew I was getting into cars, he got me a front upper strut bar. Now I know that only DC and some other company's strut bar will fit if you have an intake, but I was greedy and stubborn, so I decided to put it on anyway. All I had to do to make it fit was to push the bar of my intake a little bit towards the front. Since the intake and the strut bar were touching each other, I put a little bit of padding inbetween. It's been about a month now, and I haven't noticed any problems. Am I safe, or does anyone know if it'll cause problems in the future? Sorry it's so long.

Should be fine. Just watch for any rubbing damage. The intake moves alot (vibrates) while driving.
