Yea i got a 2002 Honda Civic Lx and i am getting an intake put in it by next monday... Yesterday i removed part of the airbox the one that wraps around the engine and has the pipe sticking out of it thas by the head light..... I am drving around wiht out that peice... Is that going to cause nay damage for now...

there is a filter on top of the throttle body, so it should be ok.

just fyi, the little box you removed is called the resonator and only serves to reduce engine noise from the intake (and constrict airflow as well).
