new tires
Do any of you think that paying $81.50 per tire to have a dealership do full install with stock tires is worth it or can I get the same tires somewhere else for cheaper.

I went ahead and made an apointment to have firestone put on some firestone tires for $51 a tire mounted and balanced. Much better price in my opinion, even though i'll two different sets of tires on there. what do you guys think?

I got BF Goodrich Touring T/A (H rated) for $320ish out the door.. tires/mount&balance/tax, etc... even comes w/ free lifetime rotation & balance from Sam's Club.. (but I only trust them cause I work there and know the guys who work there..)

That was a certain truck tire and the tires have been improved since then otherwise I don't think they'd be in business anymore. I just need two fronts so that the car will pass inspection. Not to mention my parents live two houses down from the guy that owns the place i'm buying them from. I used to jam with him and some of his buddies back in the day, so I trust him.

ROFL ... he said "JAM"
sorry that was funny.
Anyhoo... I've hadn't had any problems with the 3 sets of firestone's I've ever owned, included the stocks... besides isn't firestone just a subdivision of Goodyear ??

You gotta "kick it" now
You can't be "jamming" that's old school . . .
unless you meant you actually used to play music with the guy, I suppose that would be acceptable.

Yeah I used to play music with the guy, I was like 14 or 15 at the time. He's a hell of a drummer and he also does professional sound setups for live shows on the side.

I highly advise you to buy any other tire besides them.
Read reviews on TireRack.com... everyone else agrees.
