Push it off a cliff J/K

Isn't 2.5 inch a little big for your motor? I have 2.5 inch exhaust on my car, and I have a V-8 with heads, cam, etc. I can't see your engine needing more than 2.25 inch.

ya..cause i am planning to put a turbo in my car..for the future..am just waiting it to come out..
so that means if i go back to 2.25 my car will be faster.

Here's the deal. As you may or may not know, one thing that helps make torque is backpressure from the exhaust. So a larger exhaust will cut down low-rpm torque. At the same time, less backpressure will help breathing at higher rpms, which will help make more hp. Since your motor is mostly stock, you probably didn't gain a whole lot by going to 2.5 inch. What that probably did was kill some low-end torque. I bet if you think back, before you did the exhaust, I bet it was a little quicker off the line, but a little stopped-up up top, huh? Maybe it was, maybe you didn't notice, or maybe it wasn't. You are the only one that knows that.

I am not saying you will be faster if you go to 2.25. I am saying that 2.5 inch PROBABLY killed some low-end torque. The 2.5 would probably help if you got FI or did some heavy N/A mods like an engine swap.
