A catback will be louder generally. The quietest catback I've heard is DC sports tcs. Nothing will be as quiet as stock, which is basically no sound.

looks like the Tsudo one, my Megan racing catback off ebay looks the same as that too, slight differences but overall looks identcal to the picture.. only diff is the hanger parts are crossed and mine arent, thats the only thing i notice first off, mine was $324 shipped, I think its a good deal, if I had the $ to spend on it I would have bought a $600 thermal catback, but seeing as I dont have that much $ to waste.. at the time I wanted an ebay price on a known brand name, doin it over again im willing to bed any stainless steel catback is similar.. that has 3.5" tip.. i'd rather that that mine.. mines huge like 4.5" I think.. but it was the only Megan for sale on ebay at the time, I think i'd definitly buy that instead of mine doin it over again.. :P

btw as far as loudness goes if you want something close to stock DONT buy a catback w/ 2.5" piping, it's loud.. (not loudest but MUCH louder than stock.. my first setup was a tiny magnaflow muffler on my stock system which was quite a bit louder, and this is much louder than that..)
but what is your goal here? nice looking muffler w/ minimal sound?

how is that gonna make it quieter? that's worse.
Since catbacks don't produce any gains on ours cars why you want get one, if it's not for the pleasure of the sound??? if you want OEM sound stay OEM and save to buy a good suspension...alot more fun...

i installed an axle back thermal muffler on a friends 2000 civic ex, and that was nice and quiet, and also looked sweet. so for quiet, thats what id do. it makes sense since your keeing the stock b pipe which has the sock resonator designed to keep noise levels low

You may try Tenzo R exhaust. Quiet at low RPM (city driving) and gives out soft roar at high RPM (nice roar actually).
if you're ever up in TO .. check out Brullen .. they make awesome exhausts/catbacks ... and they can make it silence with a LITTLE roar .. and if you don't like it they can adjust the noise level =)
