DC headers, how good are they?

DC headers, how good are they?

What kind of advantage do I have to switch from stock headers to DC headers?

What kind of problem should I watch out for if getting used aftermarket headers?

How much labour does it cost to put the aftermarket headers?

Thanks for reading and your replies.

1. Dc makes great headers
2. Given the fact that all the D17 headers and downpipe are not the same peice not much a bit of sound and maybe 4hp to the wheels
3. None
4. It took me about 15 min to put my Dc headers in and it will take me about 10 to take it out and sell it when I turbo my car this spring

well i never got a header but from the general consensus around here isdc is a good company but a header doesnt give much performance gain. and as far as labor the worst part of it is those DAMN blots that go through the cat into the header. ahhhh i hate those things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup easy install just take off some bolts. They look nice, although similar to stock, so not much gain. They might make the exhaust a little louder if you have an aftermarket muffler.

If you really want a header get ceramic coated you will have a reduction in heat under the hood. chrome will actually increase the heat from stock. The best way to get good hp with these small engines is forced induction. Save your $ I wished I would have

get the header jet hot coated whatever you decide to get. Other coatings are garbage.
