i hope people respond to this one

ok, i've been hearing weird noises from my car lately. first it was with the transmission (from my last thread). Now (about 5 minz ago) as i was parking my car, i hear this noise, like the noise a car makes when the A/C is on . the only problem is that my A/C wasn't on. when i started my car back up, the sound was still there. why is it doing that? its never happened before. and should i bring it back to my honda dealership? (i dont really want to, because they did a 20 mile test drive on my car last time to check for problems! somehow i dont think they even checked out the problems)

1 tell us what type of sound it is
2 try to reproduce the scene of it making the sound, then when you goto your honda dealer you ask for a technician to come on a test drive with you, you do what you do to cause the sound to happen again and then send them to get to work, don't let them take your car for 20 miles....what they told me last time is basically one of the techs takes your car home for the day drives it around for his use and at the same time checks if ders problems thats bs i woudln't want my car to be driven by a tech for personal use to check out problems

^well, i left my car off for 5 minz. but is that a possibility? because this has never happened before.

also, the sound that im talking about is the sound you hear when your a/c is on. im not sure how to explain the sound. lets say youre at a stop light, and you have your a/c on...and then you hear that humming sound. thats what it is.

^^wait, so they can take your car and use it for their personal use? they told you that? dont they say that they'll only test drive the car for 5 miles or something like that?

now that i think of it...a couple weeks, i saw two scions in an accident. a girl rear ended a guy. and when the guy stepped out, he had a mechanics uniform on. maybe it was a mechanic using the person's car for his personal use?

he said how they do the test, unless they do it there, they basically let one of the mechanics take the car home and they try to observe the problem on the way...

If it's the same sound as when the AC is on, it's probably just the fans kicking on to cool the engine bay. They come on with the AC as well.
