which is which i did searches on this topic and found many answers but one has gone answered i havent found.. first i searched for if the safc and vafc both do the same thing with the xception that the vafc can also control vtec.. knew that one but just needed to confirm it.... now heres the one i cant find.. lets say u have a dx and lx which doesnt have vtec.. could u use the vafc still in the dx and lx and just not hook up the vtec controller wire???... i say this cause i have a dx and i just found out today that my friend will give me his d17 ex motor with everything including the ecu cause he put in a k20.. i wanted to buy a vafc2 and put it in my car and hook it up to my non vtec motor and run it for a while until i build the d17motor my friend just gave me.. that way i dont have to waste money buying a safc2 then later buying a vafc2
