angel eyes color change

is there a way to change the color of the angel eyes on projector lights? i once had a pair that had the ring a blue color that looked real nice but now that i had to order a new set the ring came in looking white and well you could barely even see it and you cant even tell with the headlights on. so is there a way to change the color or make it brighter at least?

Buy new leds with resistors, open up the lights, and wire them in. They put the crappiest ones in there that don't even last.

Sortof. You have to open the headlights like when clearing out the stock ones. An oven works good to loosen the sealent, and then they come apart. Then you just wire some leds in the back of the ring however the stock ones were. You can get power from the parking lights and then connect to a resistor, and then to the led, and then to a ground. If you do multiple leds, make sure there is a resistor in front of each one, or one big one with the sum resistance of all LEDs in the circuit. For blue, it's usually a 560ohm or maybe 460 if you want them brighter.

For me it was alot. $4 for each blue led (2600mcd intensity), and $1 for a pack of four resistors. I had close to 20 leds for my dash. It all depends on how many you wanna stick in the halo. Usually people do 2 per headlight. So it shouldn't cost more than $20 for supplies locally. The website is dirt cheap however.
