Lightbulb D16 head on D17

i've got a d16 vtec head sitting in my garage and i'm wondering if it would fit on my d17 non vtec block and if it does fit then i guess i might need the ecu and ecu harness to right? don't kno lookin for input

It's not worth it. Even if it did fit (probably not), you need the vtec solenoid and new ecu.

the d16 had a distributor and the d17 has ignition coils. it wouldn't work. but it would be sweet. I seen a 91 hatch civic with stock internals running a 12.9 boosted!

It that doesn't work....What about put a D16Y rockers and camshaft and rockers in there....Making it an ordinary SOHC VTEC....If that works, it will make the world completely different(I think).....
