Unhappy H E L P--Engine Maintenance Required Light

I just hit 35000 miles and the engine maintenance required light went off... I just flushed my transmission fluid twice today but that didn't do it, I know I'm suppose to do it 3times, but the 2nd time the oil is pretty clean, I will probably flush it again tomorrow if I got time, and I'm getting my oil change tomorrow aswwell and will this eliminate the maintenance required light?

I tried unplugging the ecu fuse and taking out the negative battery terminal for about 30mins to restart ecu, but that didn't work

does honda have to connect it to their computer and reset my ecu? do they put a data to the ecu so that it would make the maintenance required light to go off every 35k, 70k, 105k and so on?...

Thanks you guys, i'll be searching online aswell just incase they mentioned this before!

fuchs is an unknown quantity at this point
This definately has been "mentioned" before. Read your owner's manual. I think you have to hold down the odometer button while you turn the ignition on. Something like that.

Yeah for a maintenance light, it just involves holding down the trip button for a certain amount of time. Don't remember exactly, but its something like holding down the trip button and then turning your key to position II on the ignition and holding on until it disappears.

do what isra says. It will get rid of it. Have you never noticed it before? It comes on every 8 to 10k or so. Or have you been taking it to the dealer where they will reset it for you? Locked. Search for +maintenance +light in advanced search if my link doesn't work.
