o2 sensor (pics inside!)
hey,
im currently having trouble with my o2 sensor thats located beneath/beside the cat itself
. yesterday, we installed a megan hi flow race cat properly and eventually the o2 sensor wiring snapped (view pics for details) due to poor design of the product. now i was wondering if this repairable? if yes, how? does it matter which wire goes into which hole?
any help/comments/opinions/thoughts are welcome.
i really dont wanna pay a measly $40 for some bs product
thanks,
Tommy

it is repairable but you need to know where the wires go. one of the wires came out of my o2 sensore got a very small flat head screw driver, and poped back in. when u put them back in. your going to want to listen for a lil pop that means its in all the way.

ehh
i brought it to my personal honda/acura mechanic and he told me he has no problem fixing the wirings or plugs/connectors. the problem with it to him is just the o2 sensor itself but i dont know the problem with it. so only choice i have is ordering it from honda
already placed a purchase for $40.

sorry to but in but.. i have just fitted a megan racing hi flow cat pipe,, and now my engine light has come on after two days,,, honda are getting a cat in-efficiency code from the car,, does any one know how to solve this???
yes the sensors were not disconnected when the pipe was installed only unscrewed and screwed into the new pipe,,
i have just disconnected the battery for a while and reconnected it and hey presto the light is out ,,
i am told it will come back again and need to get a 02 simulator for the second sensor, this will sort it apparently??

if you installed the cat recently and the light came on after couple days. i THINK the malfunction indicator light will turn off after couple days or week(s). i remember reading this on the forums on this site before..
i installed my megan hi flow cat about 2-3 weeks ago and the light went on today morning. how ironic.. im gonna wait couple days or week hoping it will disappear.
