Wash windows befor tint?

getting my windows tinted today pretty soon.
i was wondering:
do the people at the tint shop clean my windows befor they tint?
or should i do it myself because they dont do it?

Rep Power: 0 no they will not clean them...in fact since glass is made of sand anyways they're gonna throw sand all over your car and then bake your windows. they just tint the sand coating. 
naw jk yeah they'll clean it. otherwise your tints gonna look funy with bumps everywhere.

Rep Power: 324 oh yeah, and when you clean your tinted windows dont use windex or shiz like that cause it will destroy the tint....just use warm water to wipe the tint down.

Rep Power: 0 when they do my tints, they didn't even wash it, they just spray on the solution and put the tints on. Anyway it was a good job cause they cover the third brake light and the top part.
