Question Mini Me with D17 Head??

My friend who has a 95 Civic DX wants to know if it is possible if he can do a 'Mini Me' VTEC Head swap with a D17 Head on his civic. His Civic is a 1.5 liter, D15. Do you guys think that it is possible for him to do this?? I don't think that it has been done before.

There would be no point. The D17 head is a VTEC-E head. It would be better to do a Y8 Head.

The only VTEC-E head in a 7th Gen is a HX head. 7th Gens are faster than the older civics so why would it be better to do a D16 head?

u cant put a d17 head on a d16 block......period.

first of all the d16 intake manifold WONT FIT on a d17 head. the COMPUTERS are totally diffffffferent. and the throttle body for a d17 is facing straight up, it prolly wouldnt clear the hood of ur d16 car. need i say more, plus the headgaskets wont match.
