i just picked up my vis cf hood and i was curious if anybody has painted their cf hoods on the sides or in the middle. just wondering .. if so please post some pics

you can paint carbon fiber.
but did you know they make carbon fiber in different colors so you dont have to paint it.?!?!?

how do you think ferrari paints its enzo (F40 and F50 too) bright red.. the whole body is carbon fiber.. up close, you can see the weave under the paint.. very possible.

if they primer what they paint first you wont see the weave at all.

Tech One Customs Lightly sanded the top layer of my CF hood and Clear coated it with a blue pearl finish. It only cost around $70, and looks sweet. The best part about clearcoating your CF hood is that you can wax it with conventional car waxes to protect it from water spot damage and UV rays. It also makes your hood shiny.
