maint. light sup guys, i have a question. my maint. light went off and im not even due for a oil change for another thousand miles... should i just reset it or???

u mean that it came on?
it comes on every 5,000 or 8,000 miles i think
if it came on then reset it.....if it went off......then don't worry about it.

Rep Power: 0 it just came on this morning and starts blinking everytime i start the car. iv'e been freeway driving lately so guess thats why? this isn't something bad i hope.

-turn off car
-push in and hold tripometer reset button
-turn on car and continue holding the tripometer reset button until light goes out

Rep Power: 314 Yeah it work you gotta put it on TRIP A and turn the car off and hold and turn it on and wait a few seconds and it works.

Rep Power: 0 so start the car put it on trip A turn off hold the tripometer and start and hold and wait for to flash? haha sorry bro iv'e been feeding my brain with a crap load of info from studying for midterms comming up my brain is a bit off

Rep Power: 314 start your car. put it on trip A, reset it to 0. then turn the car off. Press and hold the button, and turn the car back on, and wait until the light goes away.

Rep Power: 314 just put it on TRIP A and hold the button on until it goes to 0, its simple.... When u do eveything let me know how it worked out.
