Installing new Clutch?
No, you really need a lift with all kinds of tools and a knowledge of what your doing...I thought I might be able to do it until I watched my mechanic install one....I would leave it up to the pro's on this one dude.
I just finished a clutch on my friend integra. Just get a service manuel and do what we did 4 jack stands and a floor jack. We installed a act clutch with an itr flywheel. It wasnt really that hard, just make sure you keep all your bolts seperate from one another.

I would say dont try it. It is a biatch to get the trany so sync back in place. Also you can not just pull the trany out to do the clutch. It is a tight fit. Jsut save yourself the grief and pay the money. 300 sounds right. good luck and btw it took the shop almost 4-5 hours w/2 people to get mine in. It is not easy on a 7thgen.

Yeah, I swapped the cluth on my old car awhile back. . Me and another guy in my garage with jackstands took us about 9 hours . . It wasn't very difficult, easy to figure out, but mostly just a pain in the butt and time consuming, not a lot of room to maneuver, etc.
In my old car though we had to drop the whole tranny out of the car, though the bottom. Well, the jackstands didn't give us enough room, so we had to raise the engine up so we could clear it. Plus we had to remove the front axel because it was in the way too. Remove the starter even, because that was in the way. Anyways. it was just a pain in the butt, lots of stuff in the way.
We got it done just fine though, would have been loads easier to do with a lift. Definately a 2 person job though.

pheaton is right, If your going to atempt to do this your self, you better get some help. Also make sure when you pull the axles out that you replace the axle seals along with axle nuts( if you mess them up taking them out).
