I am going to be doing a head swap on my car (2001 EX - Actually it's Canadian so it's the SI Model) With one I am getting from DH-Racing that has been poted & polished, 3 Angled, and had a Stage 2 Cam installed. And I am looking for some torque specs for thie engine, so I want to buy the manual and it seems that there are two of the Helms ones that could be good, buy what one should I get?
They both cost $70 + shipping but they have different part numbers are they the same?:
2001 Thru 2003 Civic 2 And 4 Door Service Manual
Part #: 61S5A06
2001-2004 Civic 2/4 Door Service Manual
Part #: 61S5A08
An average of 1,500 pages of detailed repair instruction and diagrams written by Honda service professionals make this the best manual available for accurate repair. Each Section includes a Table of Contents, and many have a Component Location Index showing parts disassembly sequence, bolt torques, thread sizes, and page references to descriptions in text. Book includes Maintenance Schedules, Specifications, Troubleshooting, Special Tools, Removal/Installation, Disassembly and Adjustment. Repair instruction on Engine Electrical, Engine, Cooling, Fuel and Emissions, Transaxle, Steering, Suspension, Brakes including ABS, Body, Heating/Air Conditioning/Ventilation, Body Electrical and Restraints.
Description:
Instructions And Procedures For Routine Repair Adjustment Maintenance Work Diagnosis/Testing And Removal/Installation Of Parts For Various Vehicle Systems. Natural gas vehicle.
I will also be installing a 6-puck organix clutch, with a lightened flywheel (10 Lbs), the new power pulley (DH-Racing) with thw AC & PS Option (still don't know what belts to use?).
Puttin in a block guard from KMS too (for future turbo project), and a new fuel pressure regulator to handle all the gas I am gonna burn.
Anybody know how many new gaskets I will be needing? I am getting a custom one for the header, to match the inlarged exhaust ports, guess I will have to flare out the inside of my header to match this too. I need a header gasket, and an intake gasket?, or can these be reused?
Hopefully all my stuff will arrive within a month so I can get started.
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
Hoping to get a 40-50 Hp increase at the wheels with this setup.
I have a digital camera to take some pictures if anybody would be interested in that.
