Is it better to buy black or primed?
I found a replacement OEM front bumper for a good price online. The black one is $118 and the primed is $130.
My question is whether or not the primed will make it cheaper for me to get painted or if I should just get the black. I wont be able to get my BK this summer so I want a replacement bumper since the left corner is all ****ed up, which is another reason why the bra cover is still on, covers up nicely.

It really isn't going to matter. Either way the shop is going to have prep the bumper, painted or primed. It is going to be cleaned and scuffed up to hold the paint. As long as there aren't any bad imperfections that have to fixed, the shop will just use base coat - clear coat. Basically you body color (base coat) and then clear coat. The if they are good they will wet sand the bumper to remove any bumps in the clear coat and then buff the bumer. Just my two cents.
I bought some new fenders online (I nailed a deer at like 75mph, I had major body and engine work done), and they came primered but the shop just sanded it all off anyways and put their own coat on.
