Eye lids welded on the hood.....
I was thinking of welding my eye lids on my car...instead of having that gap between the hood and the headlight...have any you peeps welded your eye lids on your car..if so can u please post some pics... In case you geniuses think that I’m going to well plastic to the hood...your wrong I got some custom made sheet metal eye lids just like the plastic ones

if you have the creativity and the funds, then go for it. i personally think it would look nice, but would be a b!tch to clean up if anything got stuck inbetween it and the headlights.

You can find eyelids anywhere, ptuning, procarparts, etc.
If you want to do that hood welding thing, get some sheetmetal and cut it to the shape of your eyelid desired and then strip the hood, weld it on and repaint the whole thing if you want it to look perfect.
You wont be able to do the plast to metal unless you use a damn strong caulk or even epoxy.

this is similar to what i saw...but it looks like its a full hood, not eyelids welded to the hood. you better be a damn good welder to make this looks smooth and seamless.
